“..the members of Paper Route Empire reach a level of sincerity and emotional reflection that’s still hard to come by.” – Pitchfork

“10 Rappers You Should Know Right Now” – DJ Booth

“Jay Fizzle is a master of the searing street rap that serves as the bass-booming heart of Memphis music.” – The Hype Magazine
The Video:
Rising in Memphis and beyond with his fast-talking flow and enthralling street anthems, Jay Fizzle is poised to rise to new heights this year. Today, he announces his upcoming project Who Is Grizzape, arriving July 19th via Paper Route Empire. Along with the announcement, Fizzle shares “Hot N Ready,” the first single from the project. Driven by a rhythmic bassline, the track finds the PRE rapper unleashing his signature braggadocious bars, declaring why he’s the hottest man in the Memphis streets: “Shawty hop up in my ride / Baby I ain’t no ‘nother n***a / She said she’s never met another n***a with a vibe like me.” In the “Hot N Ready” video, directed by 2Brothers Film, Fizzle stars in an episode of “Cheaterz Tonight Live,” getting caught with another woman by host Pratt City Savage after spending a night at the club surrounded by adoring women.

“Hot N Ready” is the first single from Jay Fizzle’s upcoming project Who Is Grizzape. The single and forthcoming project arrive following cuts like “F*ck Being Famous,” “Built For This,” and the SNUPE BANDZ-featuring “Good Fellas,” from last year’s F*CK BEING FAMOUS. The collection of unapologetically raw rhymes rolled out the carpet for a series of guests, both familiar and unfamiliar. Fizzle proves to have excellent chemistry with L.A. legend 03 Greedo on the ultra-funky “Still The Same,” as the two bond over their enduring love for the color purple, and he goes toe-to-toe with Chicago rapper Kash Mirr on the steely “Blackout.” Home to the popular video single “Dickie Set” (516k views), F*CK BEING FAMOUS continued the momentum from DonaFizzo, Fizzle’s 2022 tape, and kept his run going as Paper Route Empire’s longest-tenured signee. 2022’s DonaFizzo featured buzzing street hits like “Standing On Top Of Sh*t” ft. Key Glock and the heartfelt tribute “Long Live Dolph” ft. Ricco Barrino.

With Who Is Grizzape on the way, Fizzle follows his mentor Young Dolph’s footsteps, promising to dig deep into his mastery of Memphis music and deliver a set for the Tennessee trap heads. Sit back and watch him rise to the top of his city’s busy scene.
